These two pieces of Heirloom dinnerware are in excellent condition. They have no chips or cracks and only minor signs of use. They were made in England by Hornsea in 1974. They are sturdy pottery and in a sort of rootbeer brown color. The pattern is plain except for the four ribbed circles on the border.
Hornsea retro pieces are becoming hard to find. So if you have a set, it is a good idea to have a few extra pieces around in case of breakage. If you are creating a set here are two pieces that look unused till you get up close and personal.
The saucer is 5 7/8 inches in diameter and the side plate is 6 3/4 inches.
